Use well-draining soil to ensure good aeration and prevent waterlogging. Adjust the frequency based on environmental conditions – warmer and drier climates may require more frequent watering. 

Applying a layer of mulch around the plants helps retain soil moisture. Always water at the base of the plants to keep the foliage dry and minimize the risk of diseases.
